XonRID® is a topical gel that prevents and treats skin symptoms such as erythema, itching, burning sensation and pruritus, induced by radiotherapy or other causes.
When applied to the target skin areas, XonRID® forms a protective film, reduces the TEWL (Trans Epidermal Water Loss) and increases moisturizing.
XonRID® promotes the healing process by restoring the physiological hydration levels of the affected skin areas.
The use of XonRID® is contra-indicated in any patient with a known history of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
XonRID® can be applied to the target areas including skin folds and creases, with or without minor trauma or abrasions.
Do not use in presence of severe dermal lesions that can heal only on secondary intent (e.g. severe wounds that have substantially and extensively breached the dermis, chronic extensive ulcerated wounds, severe burns, severe decubitus wounds. Please consult your physician for the proper way to treat affected areas with open wounds.
In case of radiotherapy, you can apply XonRID® for 2 or 3 days before treatment, after each session and at the end of a cycle as long as needed to obtain relief from symptoms; do not use immediately before the radiation session.
XonRID® should be used on clean skin three times a day or as indicated by the physician.
Skin should be perfectly cleaned before each radiation session.
To remove any residual of XonRID®, gently wash the skin area with clean water before the radiation session.
Dermatitis usually recovers in 2 or 3 weeks after the end of radiotherapy; if symptoms are persistent, discontinue the use of the product and seek medical advice.
XonRID® is packed in 75ml bottles equipped with an airless dispending system which grant the quality of the product until expiration date, printed on the box and the bottle label, even once opened.
Yes. XonRID® does not interfere with oral medication.
There have been no side effects observed with the proper use of XonRID®.
XonRID® does not contain alcohol, parabens or fragrances.
If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
XonRID® should be stored at room temperature.
